State Relays 12/12/20
** IMPORTANT STATES INFO – PLEASE READ ALL **
Hi state relay athletes,
Below is some very important information about the State Relays this Saturday 12th December.
STATE RELAYS – SAF, QSAC, Brisbane – Saturday 12th December – Kessels Road, Nathan, Mount Gravatt, QLD, 4111
PLEASE TURN UP: Importantly, and we can’t stress this enough – if you have been put on a team for state relays, you must attend on the day as otherwise your team members will not be able to compete without you! WHAT TIME? Please be at SAF, QSAC no later than 6:45am if you are in the first events. All other athletes will need to be at the State Athletics Facility (SAF), QSAC ready to go no later than 1 and a half hour before their scheduled event time.
UNIFORMS: Please make sure you have full Helensvale Little Athletics Uniform on the day. All age labels and registration numbers need to be affixed. Skins or similar must be turned inside out so logos are not visible. Please wear a hat and bring sunscreen. If you do not have the correct uniform, you may not be able to compete or your team will be disqualified so please take this seriously. ** Please note: U/11 and U/12 must have normal shoes ( no spike shoes even with blanks) for Swedish relays but can wear spikes for 4 x 100 and jumps.
SIGN IN ON ARRIVAL: All athletes will need to sign in with Michael, Robyn or Kim upon their arrival. They will be sitting in the grandstands so please look for the Helensvale shirts. If there are any issues on the day, then please contact our team managers Michael on 0488 826 343 or Robyn on 0477 701 335 or Kim 0417 947 789. Please make sure that you let Michael, Robyn or Kim know if you are running late or cannot make it as soon as possible.
COVID GUIDELINES: You will be required to check in ALL adults and children using the EVA Check-in app we use on a Friday night. Please show your check-in when you sign in with Michael, Robyn or Kim.
STATE SHIRTS: State shirt orders can be collected from Robyn ONLY after 10:30 am. If you have ordered a shirt please collect from Robyn and nowhere else on the grounds.
WHERE WILL WE BE SET UP? Please look for the Helensvale shirts in the grandstand and please sit together so we can easily gather teams for events.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING? Parking is going to be very tight, so we recommend arriving earlier if you can so you can find a car space.
