Regional Relays State Teams
Congratulations to all of our athletes that competed at the Regional Relays on Saturday. I am pleased to announce that we have 57 teams that have qualified for States.
We also had 3 teams break the Regional Relay Record:
– U/12 Girls 4 x 100m – 54.92 (Breaking an 8 year old record)
– U/12 Girls Swedish – 2.42.33
– U/13 Discus – 72.45m.
Our under 7s & 8s are not old enough to go to States, but they represented the club extremely well and I look forward to seeing them over the next few years.
Our parents and Committee did a fantastic job running Long Jump, team management and marshaling.
Anyone wanting to purchase a State Relay Souvenir shirt can pre order them by contacting Michael or Robyn. They are $29 each.
If for any reason your child can not attend States please contact us A.S.A.P so that we can try and fill the spot.
