Little Athletics Nationals – A few athletes from Helensvale have recently competed in the state titles in Darwin. Congratulations and well done to them all, we at Helensvale are so proud of you! Here are their amazing results:
Charleigh Allen
Woop Woop Charleigh – U10 national silver medalist for the 200m with a PB in the heat of 28.10 and then again in the final of 28.01
Alyssa McDonald
Congrats Alyssa – Wow!!! 2 x PB’s in the 100m (13.55 &13.6) and Gold in the 100m final by just 0.01 secs! Silver in long jump and bronze in 200m with a massive PB in the heat (27.89) and to finish 3rd in the final with a time of 28.09 is fantastic!
Connor Hopgood
Congratulations Connor! 2nd Place at nationals in discus with a new PB of 40.38m.
